1. Can you share a little about your background and what brought you to Ready Set Connect?
I joined Ready Set Connect seeking a more meaningful and fulfilling career after working in the esthetics field. I’ve always had a passion for working with children—during my teenage years, I volunteered in several community programs, including coaching competitive cheerleading and lacrosse. That experience sparked my interest in helping children grow and succeed, which ultimately led me here to Ready Set Connect.
2. What inspired you to work with children on the autism spectrum?
I have a close family member who was diagnosed later in life with ASD, which gave me a personal connection and deep appreciation for the autism community. I’ve always been fascinated by the different ways people learn—especially since I faced my own learning challenges growing up. When a close friend recommended that I join her at Ready Set Connect, I was excited for the opportunity to learn more. Hearing her inspiring and meaningful stories confirmed that this was the right path for me.
3. What does a typical day look like for you as a Site Director?
As a Site Director, I wear many hats throughout the day—and that’s one of the things I love most about my job. I’ve often been told that I have strong leadership qualities, and I truly believe in leading the RSC Concord team with empathy, support, and understanding—not only for the clients we serve, but for our staff as well. I expect my team to approach each situation with patience and affirmation, and I strive to model those same values every day. You can usually find me coordinating the daily operations, supporting staff during high-intensity behaviors, and providing ongoing coaching and guidance to our team, families, and clients.
4. What do you love most about your role and the RSC community?
Ready Set Connect has evolved tremendously since I first started seven years ago. I love that our company continues to strive toward creating the safest and most affirming environment for our clients and students, and I take great pride in contributing to that mission. During my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to grow my skills and work under incredible mentors who have guided me both professionally and personally. The support and sense of community within RSC truly speak volumes about who we are as an organization. I’m grateful to work alongside our talented BCBA team to provide exceptional services, and I take immense pride in the trust families place in us to support their children.
5. What’s one thing you want every parent to know about Ready Set Connect?
As the Director for Ready Set Connect Concord, I always want to provide parents with the confidence that their children are in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Our entire team is dedicated to helping each child reach their fullest potential while celebrating their individuality every step of the way. I want parents to know that we truly value collaboration, open communication, dignity and trust—we couldn’t do our jobs without these key components that parents so graciously provide us with.
